MACH SYSTEMS proudly presents the 100/1000BASE-T1 Media Converter v2, a next-generation solution designed to bridge automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1) with standard Fast and Gigabit Ethernet networks — now enhanced with MACsec (TC17) security and TC10 sleep/wake-up functionality.

The converter enables full-duplex physical-layer conversion between
1000BASE-T1 ↔ 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T1 ↔ 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet) links, making it a key tool for ECU testing, network validation, and vehicle communication analysis.

MATEnet and H-MTD Connectors

Advanced Functions: MACsec and TC10

The new v2 generation integrates key automotive Ethernet technologies:

  • TC10 Sleep/Wake-Up: Enables transmission and reception of low-power control commands to support modern vehicle power-management systems.

Easy Configuration and Open Integration

Users can configure and monitor the device via a USB Virtual COM Port or through a free-of-charge PC application, which provides a visual interface for parameter setup, MACsec and TC10 control, and real-time status monitoring.

For custom system integration, an open communication protocol over USB or CAN(/FD) allows developers to programmatically control all key functions — including T1 port configuration, TC10 settings, and MACsec keys — and to retrieve detailed status information.

This openness enables effortless integration into automated test systems, diagnostic tools, or custom software environments.
