A flexible automotive network interface that features one Ethernet port, two CAN FD channels, a LIN channel, a USB and RS-232 port, and multiple I/Os. The device offers user-scripting feature which allows to run user applications directly on the interface. The device can act as a Ethernet-CAN(/FD) or Ethernet-LIN interface as well as CAN(/FD)-LIN gateway.

CANFD LIN Gateway is a user-programmable automotive interface that features two CAN/CAN-FD channels, a LIN channel, a RS-232 port, a microSD card slot and multiple analogue/digital inputs and outputs. The user can develop the device’s firmware in C or C++ in free-of-charge IDE and compilers.
Wireless CAN bus network can be realized by two Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS interfaces. The Air Bridge creates a gateway between a classical wired CAN bus and a wireless network with the help of a prorietary protocol with low jitter and a high noise immunity. The interface is plug’n’play and automatically detects the baud rate of a network.
A free-of-charge tool for bi-directional conversion of SAE J1939 PGN – CAN Id can be downloaded for free. The tool enables the user to enter J1939 PDU fields (Priority, DP, PGN, Source Address) and convert it into a 29-bit CAN Identifier and vice-versa.
Updated versions of SENT-RS232 and SENT-CAN gateways, SAE J2716 converters, are available. The gateway newly offers two analogue output channels that can be mapped onto SENT channel data frame. Any signal encoded within the data field of a SENT frame can be converter into an analogue voltage value. The conversion parameters are configurable by the user, and can also be stored into the device’s non-volatile memory.
